Recap of May Mighty God Challenge and June Joy of The Lord New Challenge❤

Last month in all honesty was a difficult month I had quite a few trials but overall my faith remained strong. I chose to focus on scriptures that express how mighty God is. My main focus was the book of Psalms which has several chapters about how great God is. It was what I truly needed to study and I hope that if you are going through a trial that you can also remember how might God is in your life.
This month I wanted to focus on the Joy of The Lord what inspired me was what has been going on in the world. I thought that the joy of The Lord is so important especially when I see and hear about natural disasters, and innocent people being attacked. It makes my heart heavy but I pray about it, and feel better. Nehemiah 8:10 "says the joy of The Lord is are strength" that my spiritual challenge for this month to meditate and remember the joy of The Lord is my strength and also to intercede for people who are experiencing tribulation.
I also was inspired to pray for the United States Military servicemen and women fighting to defend our country. Initially I was going to wait until July to focus on praying for our troops but decided why not pray now. So that's what I'm doing this month also. If you would like to join any of these challenges please leave a comment below or if you need prayer let me know.

April Accelerated Faith Challenge

This month my focus is on acting on my faith quickly. It's good to have faith in God, but oftentimes God will ask you or me to do something quickly. I can honestly say last month I heard God speak to my heart about doing something and my reasoning prevented me from doing it. So this month I desire to have my faith accelerate in the spirit so that I can receive manifestations of my prayer requests. I'm determined to not allow my reasoning of what God says to prevent me from acting in faith. There are a few things this month that I will share later on that is requiring a great deal of faith. I will also explain in my YouTube video once I upload it. If you would like to join this challenge leave a comment below😃

My Christian Clothing Haul❤

This month I'm so happy that I was able to begin a new christian clothing collection. It has been a very long time since I brought christian wear. I've always wanted to get clothing that helps me share my faith in God. There are some christian clothing out there that are harsh and unloving. My main goal was to get nice, comfy and beautifully colored clothing with a feminine touch. I chose C28 clothing, their online website is www.c28.com. I was glad that their was a sale on women's tees. I plan to do another christian wear haul very soon. Here are the christian tees I purchased below:

March Mind Renewal Challenge update

This month my March Mind Renewal Challenge has been very successful. The three ways I renewed my mind was by reading my devotional bible study, scheduled prayer times, and listening to inspirational music. I find that when I do these things daily my thoughts line up with God's plan for the day.
Some of the challenge I've had with renewing my mind have been not letting my feelings affect what God's word says. I may feel a certain way but that doesn't mean I have to give in to the feeling. By doing this my faith has grown so much. If you would like to find out more about this challenge watch my video on my YouTube channel.

March Mind Renewal Challenge

This month I'm focusing on my mind making sure I renew it daily. I do this by studying God's word, listening to inspiration songs and shows. Anything that can help me think positively. I believe this will cause my faith to grow. My key verse that I will be studying is found in Philippians 2:5 which states "let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus". That means thinking heavenly thoughts allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me in daily decisions. What is your spiritual challenge for this month?

I'm on bloglovin now and it feels great being able to share my faith blog to others. My main goal is to inspire others as I tell my story about God's goodness. So if you are also on bloglovin check out this blog.

Listening to God update

This month I have improved my ability to listen to God which has helped my faith become stronger. One of the ways I prepare to listen to God is during my quiet time. This is when I say "speak Lord I am listening". It's usually when I put my kids in their room to take there nap. If you feel like you aren't hearing from God just remember what God says sometimes you will not understand with your mind, you have to hear with your heart and spirit. That has helped me trust in God more and strengthen my faith. God speaks to me when I least expect it during the times when I am doing a chore in the house, or taking a shower. Here are some tips I would like to offer you that has helped me this month. Set aside a scheduled quiet time it can be before or after prayer. Secondly, avoid reasoning what God has said, His thoughts are greater than ours just hear with your heart and spirit. And finally, ponder what God has said in your heart before sharing with others❤

February Faith Goals/Checklist

This month I will be focusing on the fruit of the Spirit. I've illustrated it on my instagram profile @ sunshine7031 if you haven't visited my page yet. I'm a visual and artistic person so I like to be creative with drawings, inspirational quotes, and pictures that express my faith. My goal for this month is to study the fruits of the Spirit. As I develop these spiritual gifts my faith will keep growing strong. Another goal will be to keep up with my daily bible readings, prayer time, be still and listening to God time. There also has to be time when I praise/worship God that's been a challenge for me so I will work on setting aside time for that. And finally my faith goal is to strengthen my obedience to God. True Faith is when I hear the voice of God and obey in that moment without hesitation. I will give updates throughout the month and share my praise reports also. Have a beautiful month my friend.

What does Hebrews 11:1 mean to me?

It took me quite some time to truly understand this verse. I've had it memorized for over 10 years, but now that I'm more mature in my faith I am able to apply it to my life. The verse says that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. I notice that oftentimes the things I hope for requires me to believe against all odds. The miracles that God has spoken over my life are manifested in certain seasons of my life. Its easy to believe God when things are going well, but when obstacles in life come I make sure I speak words of faith rather than doubt living by the word of God.

My January 3 P's Goals and January Christian Favorites Videos

So this month I was inspired to come up with a challenge "My January 3 P's Goals. The three P's are Prayer, Planning and Patience. I feel that being a confident woman with extraordinary faith requires these 3 P's. If you would like to find out more about My January 3 P's Goals/Challenge watch this video:

I've made significant improvement on my prayers this month. I use a iphone app called "PrayerPal" and I have been interceding more for others not just focusing on myself. Using faith words instead of negative words. Basically, getting out of my comfort zone. I want to be in a place of extraordinary faith not allowing the days to go by praying the same prayers.

As the month comes to an end I feel like I have met the challenge, but there is still room for improvement. I still need to work on my patience. The planning I over analyzed and had way too many planners on my iphone. Once I realized I was over planning I invested in this planner below that I order a few days ago. I feel like this is the planner I need to keep me motivated, confident, and faithful to God's call on my life:

http://www.amazon.com/Womans-Success-Planner-Spiral-2013/dp/B007GFBUJC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358536344&sr=8-1&keywords=women%27s+success+planner

This planner isn't just writing down what is going on for the day, it challenges you in all aspects of your life that is why I feel God inspired me to choose it. Its almost like He wants me to grow in my faith and get out of my comfort zone. One important thing to remember if God inspires you to do something that is out of the ordinary do it, he will help you. I promise you that God will help you. I will share with you more about how this planner is helping me throughout the year.

And lastly this month my goal was to have more patience. Let me tell you God has been showing me areas that need more patience. I'll share a few, having more patience with myself when I do not get everything done on my list,  and having more patience with my children. I have allowed God to work on these areas and other areas so that my faith can continue to grow. If I resist God's intervention then I will stay in my comfort zone and that is not what I want. I want to have more patience this year in doing so I will be able to help others also. What were your January goals? How did God challenge you this month?

I also have a January Christian Living Favorites video below that you can watch, I hope you enjoy:

A Faith Journal

I've always kept a prayer journal over the years but today I decided I need a faith journal in this journal I will keep a list of prayers that are not your everyday prayers, but supernatural prayers, I will also keep track of my fasting schedule because God's word says that some prayers are answered by prayer and fasting. I feel this will make my faith more stronger!

What is a Confident Woman of Extraordinary Faith?

This is a question I've asked many times over the years especially during difficult times in my life. What I've realized is that confidence and faith go hand in hand. Without confidence it is pretty hard to have extraordinary faith. There have been times when I had to remain confident even when others said a particular thing I was praying about wouldn't happen. Eventually, it did happen and I felt proud of myself that I didn't allow what others believed to hinder my blessing. Extraordinary Faith also is unattainable if you are not confident. That is why I say the two go hand in hand. The purpose of this blog is to share with you from my experiences what it means to be a confident woman of extraordinary faith. It will be written in a simple format, and not filled with endless scripture references although some scriptural references will be used because I am a christian. I will post pictures only sometimes, a few sentences of encouragement,  music videos, quick sermons and much more. It will be geared towards women because that is where I have the most experience. I will also offers helpful books that I've read, are reading, plan to read. Products that I want to buy that will help my faith from a christian coffee cup to a bible application on my computer. I may not always focus on faith, but on other things as well. I will post daily, weekly, and monthly challenges. I will pray for you if you post a prayer request, and share some of my extraordinary faith prayer requests. As the years progress I will update this blog, and change the style of it. Let me tell you a little bit more about me I am a proud mother of three children, enrolled in a school of Religion bachelor's program at Liberty Online University, I am a stay at home mom, and enjoy social networking, beauty treatments, running and collecting gadgets. I also have a brother and sister blog on here. "My Natural Hair Journey to Waist Length, and NaturalBeauty365.
